A Sharp
When it comes to jams, Santa Fe cup overflows. Most popular are the Canyon Road Blues Jam El Farol and Soulman Sam and the explosion of Soul Gospel Jam, and there are many others.
Yes, we have a lot of jams in Santa Fe, and one might ask what happened before.
Many jams attract local professional musicians. Not bad, for example, the electric blues is not something I want, but in the Canyon Road Blues Jam, I have seen enough talented musicians who have enjoyed this genre. It ‘was a unique opportunity for the capture of many great musicians who play together.
But this is not the only kind of jam in Santa Fe has to offer. Maybe you’re a budding musician or a professional connoisseur of music, or you’re just trying to make new friends with similar interests. Whatever your situation, ask for a weekly bluegrass jam in the open air at Backroad Pizza.
Since opening its location at 2002 Second Street, Backroad was discreetly placed in some of the best shows in town. Musicians such as indie-queen Miranda, the rapper $ amwise, my nemesis Casiotone for the Painfully alone, and also the attacks have shaken the pizzeria.
Unfortunately, while the big shows have sunk steadily, the lack of hearing has been a constant disappointment. Ultimately, it is much more fun with the big crowds, and are afraid to go anywhere alone. However, after having verified recently open bluegrass jam, I will make a conscious effort to pay greater attention to the music program of the restaurant.
I guess the open bluegrass jam could have done in two ways: a cacophony of unidentifiable sounds confusing, or a night of music well played. I am pleased to announce that the experience was the last. When driving in the circle of musicians is easily visible from outside the glass windows. The large number of musicians was impressive and created a warm, friendly atmosphere that was evident even from the parking lot. Its low noise reached my ears, and at each step, a different tool, was heard.
Once inside, I was immediately impressed by the music. Several guitars, mandolins and banjos mesh smooth as a violin makes its way to the front. It ‘clear that the jam is fun and the music, not the level of professionalism. The songs are not always in tune and there were some errors, but the link was real camaraderie of musicians and common interests in general.
I am of the mind that music should be played for the sake of happiness. Those who depend on it for the pay day is on another level and should take more seriously, but for me, the more fun the better fate. Not for a moment that the players seem to worry most people do not pay attention or bother anyone for a false start or a sour note. I walked for nearly two hours, during which there was no sign they were inherent or even take a break.
